Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Shailene Woodley may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
- played California "Cali" Ford in [[A place Called Home]] 2004. Shailene Woodley was cut from The [[Amazing Spider Man 2],(2014), as the character of Mary Jane Watson.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 06:35, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Shailene Woodley. Your edits have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. You have been reverted 3 times now, stop putting the same edit over and over. LADY LOTUS • TALK 16:57, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Ansel Elgort. Stop adding that he is a "miniature artist", that doesn't even make sense LADY LOTUS • TALK 18:47, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Well I'm sorry if that doesn't "make sense" but he paints miniatures and sings. That's not my fault!!
- Then reference it. Just because you say it doesn't make it true. LADY LOTUS • TALK 18:52, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
I didn't say it he did. Reference it? I'm new to this so I don't know.
- Read more here. You need to find reliable sources to go with ANY information you add. LADY LOTUS • TALK 19:05, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
- You also cannot just delete sourced information. He is a music producer. Stop removing it or you will be blocked for being disruptive. LADY LOTUS • TALK 19:07, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
He isn't a music producer though. Look all I'm asking for is a bit of help understanding all of this.
- Yes he is. It's sourced. Read [1]. Do NOT remove it again. You are being problematic and argumentative. You're not helping your case. LADY LOTUS • TALK 19:21, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Look I'm sorry for being disruptive but by music producer I thought you meant that he signs other celebrity's. I apologize for the misunderstanding. As you can see I put music producer back up.
- I saw and I thank you for that. If you make a WP:BOLD edit by either removing or adding information, you can't WP:EDITWAR about it. When in doubt, ALWAYS take it to the talk page, that way you can talk to other editors about it and see why your edit has been reverted. If you think you are in the right, and the edit is legit and well sourced, get WP:CONSENSUS LADY LOTUS • TALK 19:29, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Yes I was trying to figure things out because as I said this is only my 2nd day. Just to clear things up why did my singer, miniature artist, and Shailene Woodley movie information get deleted?
- The edits you made on Ansel's page were removed mainly because they aren't sourced. Nowhere does it say he's a singer or a minature artist. The source I gave you actually talks about him doing miniature art but I find that more of a hobby he's good at than an actual career and hobbies are not included on Wikipedia. The edits you made on Shailene's account were just worded improperly and the wikilinks were incorrect but I did go back and add 2 of the films you were trying to add. The Spiderman won't be in the lead because it's not relevant to her career. The lead is just a summary of the article as a whole and having deleted scenes isn't appropriate for it. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, I can help guide you through things, I know editing can be tricky in the beginning but I can help if you have problem with an edit or anything LADY LOTUS • TALK 19:42, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Thank you. Two more questions. First how do you source and edit? Second what do you mean by worded improperly. Thank you for adding the two by the way.
Also my edits for The Fault in Our Stars movie were also deleted.
- Yes because it wasn't necessary, the article already had a well detailed plot. LADY LOTUS • TALK 20:09, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Oh I guess I didn't see it. Thank you so much for your help. If I want to communicate with you again how do I do it?
- Just go to my talk page, any user's talk page will be attached to their signature. Just click the 'talk' on most :) BTW, I saw on your edit on the The Fault in Our Stars that it said "(NO spoilers)", basically Wikipedia doesn't believe in spoilers per WP:SPOILERS, nothing is kept from users because of that basis. LADY LOTUS • TALK 20:17, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Thank you so much you really helped. I'm really sorry again for the misunderstanding. I hope we can talk again sometime.
Littletfiosfan6614, you are invited to the Teahouse
