If you are reading this, thank you! I am looking forward to any comment, conversation or suggestion you might have. I will give an opinion on any topic if you want one, but do not expect me to be an expert, please. I will probably only do this on weekends, so if I do not answer right away, just be patient. I will answer you sooner or later. --LittleOldManRetired (talk) 20:49, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Cowboys & Aliens (film) are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. You might find these handy when referencing bible verses.

Bibleverse (Old style): {{bibleverse||John|3:16|KJV|}}
(New style): {{bibleref2|Hebrews|12:24}}

Thanks! Is there a similar brief key-stroke-saving link for the entire list of multiple translations online at bibref.hebtools, bible.cc, et al? --
I experimented and found that I can link John 6:52–69 to all the versions listed at bibref.hebtools with link
{{bibleverse||John|6:52-69|}}
but after over an hour of further experimentation by trial-and-error I couldn't hit upon any kind of specification in either of the shorter-form linkages you suggested above that takes the reader directly to
"Online Parallel Bible(bible.cc)"
or to the
"BibleBrowser.com"
(two sites listed at bibref.hebtools) for John 6:53. All I kept getting was the same listing in general for all the versions that site provides. If you don't have any additional suggested form for going individually to each of all the specific sites listed there, I'm willing to settle for what I can get now (with the longer form) to link to specific Bible version/parallel version/Biblical-commentary sites that I can't access with the linkages you provided. Again, I do appreciate your suggestions, and I look forward to working with you on Wikipedia from time to time as I'm able. Thanks! LittleOldManRetired (talk) 23:16, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
