Neapolitan Mastiff Page
[edit]REPLY June 10, 2008 Dear Hu12 - I haven't logged in for awhile, sorry for the late reply. Thank you for your recent attention to the NeapolitanMastiff Page, it is in need of editorial review, I hope you will continue your interest. I see you noted a concern that I may be a "sockpuppet" for another user - this is certainly NOT the case. I am new to wikipedia but am indeed a "real" person ! Thus the reason I created my username with my "real" name - I don't nor never would edit or post anywhere with a fake name or for someone else!!!!!!!!!! I added the link to Neapolitanworld.com AFTER - AFTER other users had added links to similiar sites, I see all the sites have been removed which is probably good except the remaining links do not actually link to anything which can provide additional information for interested parties so the need to correct and enhance the NeapolitanMastiff Wikipedia page is even greater. If you have any further concerns about my identity simply google my name you will find I am a real person ;) And of course feel free to contact me directly. I would also appreciate it if you would remove my name from the Neapolitan sockpuppet list or neapolitanspam list I am still trying to figure out both ! I believe I am supposed to post this on your talk page as well ? I note it says on this page to reply to you on my discussion page but I don't think you started a discussion with me? Thank you - Lisa Cinciripini —

- Thank You Hu12 - I will read the links to better understand wikipedia. As I still don't really understand the issue with the link I posted ? I also don't understand why there is not a discussion page on the Neapolitan page ? it appears there was one and it was archived ? I need to read more about how those pages are meant to be used too ;)
-Okay read thru the links you gave ;) I think the link to neapolitanworld.com would meet the guidelines for "what to link to " rule #5 "Sites with other meaningful, relevant content that is not suitable for inclusion in an article, such as reviews and interviews" as the site contains numerous interviews of experts in the breed. however, it does violate a few others at the same time.....hmmm so probably better to leave it off for now ...I still don't see how it falls under the "spam" category? Thanks again for the links !!!!
Re: Canine Leishmaniasis Article
[edit]Hi Lisa, and welcome to the project! :) I think our interests cross over quite a bit, so you can feel free to ask me anything you want whenever you want. I think you're asking me if you should add the article to the Dogs Wikiproject? Each project defines which articles are in its scope, which it generally (but not always) specifies on its project page. To tag an article as being part of a project, you just need to find its "project banner", which is also usually specified on the project page – in the case of the Dogs project, it is {{WikiProject Dogs}} – and just place this template at the top of the talk page of the article you wish to tag. Good luck and happy editing, and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask! – ClockworkSoul 01:30, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, keep up the good work! – ClockworkSoul 01:31, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
