Image for Texas City Refinery Explosion
[edit]All I know about images are getting them from Commons. You might browse Here. I would also think you might find User:WhisperToMe helpful. This editor is part of the Houston, Texas project and might have more knowledge of images in that area. Good luck on this. Maile66 (talk) 20:58, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Maile66, thank you for the information. I looked on Commons, and there are a lot of refineries, but unfortunately not the one in Texas City, but I will check with WhisperToMe. Thanks again. Regards, Linksfuss (talk) 21:28, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Linkfuss! It may be good to ask Wikipedia:WikiProject Houston - The editors are all from the Houston area, which includes Texas City. WhisperToMe (talk) 21:59, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for the information, I will try it there. Regards, Linksfuss (talk) 19:43, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

The article Heribert Offermanns has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Nitalake (talk) 19:08, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Nice work
[edit]You and Rifleman have done some very good work together. Thousands of readers will benefit from your efforts.--Smokefoot (talk) 22:46, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Smokefoot, thank you. Specials thanks to Rifleman for the clean up of my edits. I expanded the metal carbonyl article in the deWP last year for the so called writers contest. I will continue to translate it section by section for the enWP. Next on the list is the sectiopn "Chemical reactions" of the metal carbonyls (de:Metallcarbonyle#Chemische Eigenschaften). I also appreciate the expansion of the IR section, nice work which I will use for the deWP again! -- Linksfuss (talk) 19:21, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
I saw your post on my page. Sorry for not getting back, I've been quite busy. I'll look at it over the weekend. --Rifleman 82 (talk) 14:44, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
- No problem, I am not in a hurry. -- Linksfuss (talk) 20:44, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paraffin oxidation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fats. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 09:57, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
The article JALC (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Disambiguation page not required (WP:ONEOTHER). Primary topic redirect JALC points to an article with a hatnote to the only other use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 19:20, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
