Wow...

[edit]

This is creepy.... we're almost the same age (I'm 13, my 14th is in September 2005), and we both take an interest in web design and writing. (I'll give you a link to my website once I complete it.) May I ask which state you're from? Regards, Sango123 14:54, July 17, 2005 (UTC)

P.S. Don't worry about eavesdropping. Other people's talk pages can be a valuable source of information. ^_^

Nope, definitely not a real language. I just inserted random symbols and formatted that Babel box to a nice, squirrel-ish brown. ^_^ It supposedly translates to This user is able to contribute with a cutting-edge level of squirrel talk. I don't even know why I added that to my user page. XD Sango123 23:45, July 17, 2005 (UTC)
Sure, why not? Just make sure the article is as long and thorough as possible, lest some deletionist sticks a {{vfd}} tag on it. Have you finished writing the book? Thanks, Sango123 21:40, July 18, 2005 (UTC)
Please read Wikipedia:Ownership of articles and Wikipedia:Copyrights. Regards, Sango123 00:21, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

If and when you reply to what I've posted on your talk page, I'm adding this here because I don't want to flood your talk page:

Could I possible have my Stargems article deleted? I think I'd rather wait until the book is done before writing an article.

Post it on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion. Make sure you note that you're the sole contributor to the article, and you want it deleted. Regards, Sango123 02:37, July 19, 2005 (UTC)
Nice work. Sorry I couldn't help you more; I'm not heavily involved on VfD, as I vote there occasionally and once saved an article from deletion by rewriting it. Oh, and I've added my Delete vote to your entry. Sango123 13:17, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

Request for adminship

[edit]

Hello, Linkofazeroth/Archive1. I have just submitted a request for adminship, and I would be honored if you submitted a vote. :) Thanks, Sango123 19:11, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

I'm going to refrain from thanking you for now just in case I don't make it. ;) My name's green because I've formatted the 'Nickname' option under 'User data' in my preferences. Here's what I typed:
<font color="#3D9140">[[User:Sango123|Sango]]</font><font color="#006400">[[User talk:Sango123|123]]</font>
I also checked the 'Raw signatures' box underneath; it gets rid of the automatic link since I'd already provided one. Regards, Sango123 17:26, July 16, 2005 (UTC)

Edit summary

[edit]

So, you edited the page correctly but made errors in your edit summaries? Sango123 22:27, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

Hmmm... I'm afraid edit summaries can't be fixed, but my suggestion is to edit the page again, and in that edit's summary, make notes about the previous edit summary errors. Sango123 22:31, July 19, 2005 (UTC)
I felt overwhelmed when I joined the 'pedia as well, but the random article link (found in the left side panel) can help you locate needy articles that need to be wikified. You can try participating in Wikipedia:Mind Benders; the second round is coming up, and User:Flcelloguy is the game's maintainer. Take part in some Active Wiki Fixup Projects. And there are many ways to help around at pages listed on Special:Specialpages (also located in left side panel). The nooks and crannies at Wikipedia are endless. :) Sango123 23:26, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

It's nice to meeting you Linkofazeroth, are you really 13? Please send me the update news about your Stargem books.

Well...if you copy the template into your own user namespace (Like User:Linkofazeroth/Wel), and just edit the link to point to your talk page then it'll work :D. — Ilγαηερ (Tαlκ) 04:14, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

User welcome

[edit]

Hi, Link. I noticed that in the warm welcome you gave to User talk:IFoundation, the text my talk page links to User talk:Ilyanep. Just wanted to let you know. Regards, Sango123 13:55, July 26, 2005 (UTC)

That welcome page is a bit freaky... made me feel I'd done something horribly wrong to deserve a reminder on the rules. Hehe. Actually I realized after I had that thought that I'd forgotten to sign a discussion post I'd made. Is that why I got the welcome, or is it standard fare for anyone who somebody notices?
If it's just a friendly hello, then thanks :) Eleusinian 17:12, July 26, 2005 (UTC)

Hi, Link. Thank you for supporting my RfA! I will try my best to demonstrate that your endoresment was well-placed. Sango123 01:23, July 27, 2005 (UTC)

I've deleted WIKIPEDIA IS ISLAMOFACIST. Thanks for pointing it out. Sango123 15:42, July 27, 2005 (UTC)

I believe User:Rv vandalism has been blocked indefinitely for a history of vandalism. And no, it's not WikiTattling. :) If you see anything fishy, just let me know. Thanks, Sango123 16:04, July 27, 2005 (UTC)
Hey, you're pretty good at this! Ever consider joining RC Patrol? (Oh, and a helpful link: Wikipedia:How to revert a page to an earlier version.) Sango123 16:18, July 27, 2005 (UTC)
No, that's not vandalism. The editor was just overwriting a mistake he/she made; Henry Pelham was not born in 1696. Sango123 16:36, July 27, 2005 (UTC)

worthy of deletion?

[edit]

Hi. You gave me a nice little "welcome" on my talk page a few days ago, so now I guess you're imprinted on me as the mother hen or something. Anyway, I have a question about a useless page. I was clicking on the "random article" link and came across the link for Cordova, Tennessee. I was going to put a stub tag on it, but then it occurred to me that it's so short that it might not even deserve that. All it says is, "'Cordova, Tennessee' is a suburb of Memphis, TN." Is that a sort of page that would be a good candidate for deletion? - Eleusinian 05:53, August 1, 2005 (UTC)

Vandalism of Alternate

[edit]

Thanks for noticing the vandalism of Alternate, and even more thanks for reverting it back to a good state. As you've probably noticed, articles get vandalised a lot here on Wikipedia, so it's not necessary to notify someone each time you revert an article. People on RC patrol do this type of stuff all the time. If you ever see a large scale attack of vandalism, it's better to mention something on Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress. That way, an admin can speedily correct the edits, and then ban any users if necessary. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me again, either on my talk page or via email. Thanks again! Cheers, Bratschetalk 5 pillars 02:21, August 7, 2005 (UTC)

Oh, and it's also nice meeting someone with a similar background. I was homeschooled when I was your age, and everything turned out pretty good! Nice of you to be a Wikipedian!. Bratschetalk 5 pillars 02:24, August 7, 2005 (UTC)
