Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 08:09, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tullow Oil - Aidan Heavey

[edit]

Hi Lindsay. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. If you are a Tullow Oil employee you should declare this on your User page (which I see you have done) and the Talk page of every article you edit - as per WP:COI. Given your COI the recommended way of correcting Aidan Heavey’s page is to raise your concern on that Talk page and bring it to the attention of a Wikipedia Administrator who will review your request according to NPOV and REF and then make any necessary changes. Please also consult REMOVAL for guidance on suggesting the removal of content. I can clearly see you are being totally honest and transparent about this and I am sure this will ultimately be to your credit when you bring up your concerns with an Administrator – they are very helpful and willing to help out an honest Wikipedian such as yourself, especially when there are so many other companies out there that disregard proper procedures for editing Wikipedia. You have my support. All the best BarkingNigel (talk) 15:37, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
