Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page The Romancers has been reverted.
Your edit here to The Romancers was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZDttfwg8V) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 17:46, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Romancers, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:18, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Need to revert edits in the Romancers

[edit]

I appreciate you contributions to the Romacneers article. However, so much of what you have added/changed is not cited. And, much of it seems to be coming from a biased point of view (as if it is there to prove a point), which we cannot do at an encyclopedia. I'm going to need to revert a lot of your changes until we can get a consensus on what should be there. While many of your additions may indeed be true, we should first provide third party sources for verification. And, some of your edits do not look to be in proper style and format. There should never be url links to words in the text, except citations--when that is done, it can be perceived as self-promotion. I'm going to need to revert a lot of what you have change/added. It may be too difficult for me to undo changes piece-by-piece. Therefore, I will probably need to revert the aticle back to the its earlier wording. Then, you can discuss any changes you'd like to see with me and other editors on the talk page of the article. I would be glad to consider many of your changes, but we have to do these things according to protocol. Garagepunk66 (talk) 03:53, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with these comments. No-one wants the article to be inaccurate in any way, but all editors need to be aware of our policies and guidelines such as those on conflict of interest and no original research. If LincolnTiger is concerned about correcting inaccuracies, and if they are connected in some way with the article's subject matter, it would be best if those concerns were raised on the article talk page so that independent editors can decide how best to include them in the article, while keeping it neutral and properly referenced. I want to thank you for the kind recognition you sent me on my talk page, LincolnTiger. I am grateful for your help with the article. When I first wrote the article I did not have access to the information you provided. Thank you so much for your help! Garagepunk66 (talk) 20:00, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
