Sure, no problem—you're doing fine. A couple of minor tips, mostly to do with formatting:

  • It's best to add footnotes after punctuation (that is, "This is an example.[1]" instead of "This is an example[1]."
  • There's usually no need to link a given word more than once in the same section.
  • Wikipedia's Manual of Style recommends only the first word in a section heading be capitalized (except proper nouns).

I see you've already become acquainted with adding references. So far, you're doing an excellent job :) Keep up the good work.

By the way, several editors interested in pharmacology topics have organized Wikipedia:WikiProject Pharmacology. You're welcome to join if you'd like to; we're currently working on setting up the Pharmacology Collaboration of the Week. Feel free to contact me whenever you have any questions, or in case you need any help. Best wishes, Fvasconcellos (t·c) 23:54, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here are a few updates in the realm of WikiProject Pharmacology:

  • The Pharmacology Collaboration of the Week has been changed to Collaboration of the Month, based on current participation levels. It is also more likely that articles collaborated on for one month are more likely to achieve featured quality than articles worked on for only a week or two.

(Belated) Happy New Year! spam

[edit]

Here's hoping the new year brings you nothing but the best ;) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 18:14, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The design of this almost completely impersonal (yet hopefully uplifting) message was ripped from Riana (talk · contribs).
Please feel free to archive it whenever you like.

And now, for Fvasconcellos' traditional nonsectarian holiday greeting!

[edit]
Wherever you are, and whether you're celebrating something or not, there is always a reason to spread the holiday spirit! So, may you have a great day, and may all your wishes be fulfilled in 2009! Fvasconcellos (t·c) 14:35, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is this a combination of my Christmas greeting from 2006 and my New Year's greeting from last year? Why, it most certainly is! Hey, if it ain't broke...

The Wikipedia Library now offering accounts from Cochrane Collaboration (sign up!)

[edit]

Cochrane Collaboration is an independent medical nonprofit organization consisting of over 28,000 volunteers in more than 100 countries. The collaboration was formed to organize medical scholarship in a systematic way in the interests of evidence-based research: the group conducts systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of health-care interventions, which it then publishes in the Cochrane Library.

Cochrane has generously agreed to give free, full-access accounts to 100 medical editors. Individual access would otherwise cost between $300 and $800 per account. Thank you Cochrane!

If you are stil active as a medical editor, come and sign up :)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
