Slytherwald
[edit]- Tell you what. If you can write the article in a nuetral point of view, cite it with nuetral references, and if the person is notable, I'll recreate it for you. In the meantime, write it up at User:LillyChristoferson\Slytherwald. In the meantime, I'm going to delete the orphaned talk page. Be sure and send me a message at User talk:Pepsidrinka when you write it up. Pepsidrinka 20:08, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I tagged the article because it only said bad things about the person - an attack page. There are Wikipedia guidelines forbidding personal attacks, attack pages, and articles about non-notable people (see WP:BIO). Basically, "slytherwald" does not deserve a Wikipedia article. But don't let that discourage you; after you have read all the rules of Wikipedia, please help us out by improving this encyclopedia in any way you can. :-) -EdGl 20:10, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Well thank you guys, but no, I won't try my luck again. I'm not good at writing stuff... I'm just stupid for that. The hacker under the name of Slytherwald does reserve the wiki, but I'm just not talented enough for creating it. Well, maybe after he crashes some international server, someone will make him a wiki page. And thank you Pepsidrinka, but there's no point of recreating pages for me - that only takes your time. Sorry, but I didn't get to see the article again before it was deleted. With that said, I don't think you should stop trying to write (or edit) articles just because your first attempt didn't go over so well. Absolutely anyone can make great contributions to WP- Slytherwald just happened to be a subject that was not notable enough to merit an article. I've only predominantly written three articles myself- every other contribution I've ever made was slight editing (and tagging a lot of articles for clean-up or deletion... it's just my thing). But I personally believe that those three articles are important, and I'm proud to have written them. I think being on WP is a ton of fun, and if you think it's fun, then you should keep at it. -- Kicking222 21:08, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
