Speedy deletion nomination of Carol Hannah
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Carol Hannah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Moogwrench (talk) 07:19, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
The article Carol Hannah has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — This, that, and the other (talk) 10:04, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I see that you wrote a page called Qinhuai River. This looked to be a useful topic for Wikipedia, but because you blanked the page, it was deleted. If you did not intend it to disappear, I can help you get it back.
Another helpful hint: you can link to other articles in Wikipedia by using double square brackets like this: [[Project Runway]] Project Runway. But if you spell the word wrong, it will appear as a redlink like: Porject Runway Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:55, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Help about Carol Hannah
[edit]Hi Lilith. Thank you for creating the page on Carol Hannah. She is indeed a well-known designer. Don't worry, it will be easy to save your page. The problem with the page is not notability (Chinese: 关注度). It's just that all newly created biographies of living people (生者傳記) must have at least one reference to a reliable source (可靠来源) like a reputable newspaper, a magazine interview, etc. So good news: all you need to do is add one reference! You can find many here on this Google search: [1]. Remember that you can't use Carol Hannah's own website as a "reliable source." Your sources have to be independent from her. Good luck, and have fun editing! Madalibi (talk) 03:10, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
