Currency in French Polynesia

[edit]

Sorry, but the currency in French Polynesia is still the Pacific Franc. See IEOM's site: L'IEOM émet la monnaie ayant cours légal en Nouvelle-Calédonie, en Polynésie française et dans le Territoire des îles Wallis-et-Futuna (code ISO: XPF). David.Monniaux 21:21, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Proteus (instant messaging client) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Seemingly non-notable defunct software.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dmitrij D. Spezial:Beobachtungsliste listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Spezial:Beobachtungsliste. Since you had some involvement with the Spezial:Beobachtungsliste redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Central European Exchange Program for University Studies, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Macedonia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to MediaMonkey, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 19:02, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article says that MediaMonkey is written in "Mostly Delphi and C". Delphi is Borland's brand for Object Pascal. Thus MediaMonkey is mostly written in Object Pascal and belongs to the category Pascal software. --Liebeskind (talk) 19:20, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately that claim was itself unsourced since at least 2013. If you can find a source for the language MM is written in you're welcome to re-add it and any appropriate categories. Thanks! DonIago (talk) 17:09, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article CudaText has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (software) requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Article s6 (init)

[edit]

Good morning Liebeskind. You who have knowledge about init could you help with editing the article s6 (init) to get it accepted. Since I think init s6 is very important in Linux environment. Thank you very much. --Rstmnq1000 (talk) 00:03, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on CLCL (clipboard history manager) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
