Thanks for contacting me. Looking through your group's edits to the article, I think the main reason why your added information was removed is because it didn't follow the Neutral Point of View required on Wikipedia. For instance, you added things like "One of the finest athletic facilities in the country", "Built into a hillside with a beautiful view of Minot", "One of the best ball parks in the DAC", etc. Who determined that these places were "beautiful" or "the best"? You wouldn't find phrases like these in a regular encyclopedia so that's why you can't add stuff like that to Wikipedia. All articles must be written in a strictly neutral tone. They can't read like personal opinions or like advertisements. Also, the pictures and some of the text your group added to the article were taken directly from the University's website...a big no-no. No copyrighted material can be used in Wikipedia. Both amount to copyright infringment...something not allowed on Wikipedia. --MatthewUND(talk)01:18, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
