[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited WTMD, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Marah and The Whigs (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Kathleen Elle
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Kathleen Elle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:
Caught by a web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. Place any further information here. I have XFINITY and am using one of their hotspots. That may be the problem. I have been editing all morning but was just blocked now. Just working in my sandbox - nothing controversial. Please unblock me! Thanks. Lhcollins (talk) 17:08, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Appear to be editing fine. Can't see any blocks affecting you directly. Without an IP there is little we can do to help. SQLQuery me! 05:34, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
You seem to be editing ok now. PhilKnight (talk) 00:35, 21 May 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Can you help?
[edit]I'm trying to update a page about a musician and another contributor keeps deleting all of my updates. I have sources and I'm trying to only include fact-based information. For example, the fact that this artist's name has legally been changed, or adding to the artist's discography. Is there any advice or help you can give? The artist is Eryn Shewell. Her wiki page is very much out of date. Can you email me at jenniferhom3@gmail.com? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:84:C703:71F0:5DD1:A157:710C:DF33 (talk) 00:00, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hi - Sorry about the delay. I'll take a look at your attempted edits. Lhcollins (talk) 14:06, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
- - Wow. I know we are supposed to assume "good faith" but I am the person who originally created her page and there's no history of that. I also heavily sourced my contributions. Looks personal. You might want to work on edits in a sandbox, then transfer them all over in one editing session. It has to sound dull and boring - just the facts - nothing promotional sounding. All sourced, of course, and the more material from sources like the NYT and WPo the better. Lhcollins (talk) 14:16, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
