While I thank you for uploading Image:Belarus Flag.GIF, I wish to tell you that this was not what I was looking for. I am looking for a photograph of the flag waving in the wind, not an animinated image. Zach (Sound Off) 15:30, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
'Sometimes' is a wrong term; have you seen any other abbreviation for Vista? Compare it to Windows 2000; Win2K is in no way an official abbreviation, but it's the way Windows 2000 is called most of the time -- and Windows 2000 doesn't say sometimes about this abbreviation. --tyomitch 15:27, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
- I have reverted your edit. If you have a valid rationale, please list it before reverting back. --tyomitch 08:11, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
Loosely speaking, this will gain sufficient notability if you can assemble an order of magnitude more members (i.e. more like 4,000), (significant) national or international media attention, or if the web site attains much more traffic.
Notability or significance can be a bit of a moving target, but there are some guidelines around. One suggestion has been stored here (I know this is not exactly applicable, I am putting it forward as a possible guide). There are suggestions for corporate notability and music/band notability guidance that might also cast some more light. I can't think of guidance that matches your exact needs, however. That said, if a significant number of UK citizens all start wearing "We know it's stupid" T-shirts that would do the business.
I think maybe the best way of putting it is that Wikipedia is somewhere to record things after they have become significant/famous/notable. I think Flat T'owt is not there yet. I hope it will be in the future.
Of course, I'm just one Wikipedian among zillions and my words do not carry any more weight than anyone else's; but this is my immediate response.
Best of luck, cheers, Sliggy 21:42, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
(PS. Off the top of my head maybe Wassup and its history might be useful too.)
- Thanks for the tip! :) Lewispb 12:04, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Revolutionary Socialism Case
[edit]Hi Lewispb. I notice that you have taken the Revolutionary Socialism case. I was wondering if I might assist you with this, in a mostly just watching you compasity. I was interested in the case, but being new to the Med Cab, I felt I wasn't prepared to takle it alone. Do you mind if I assist? Thank you for your time, The Halo (talk) 12:33, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've just seen that it's up for deletion, and that it doesn't look like any mdeiating will be needed. If it somehow surives AfD, and mediation is need, please let me know, as I would like to see how a situation like this is handled. Yours, The Halo (talk) 12:55, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
That would suit me fine!! I'm currently working on my first case as well, with Ideogram helping me. The case is about Taiwan and the Republic of China, which is obviously a very volitile issue. What a first case!! The Halo (talk) 13:54, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
No problem
[edit]I jsut meant defining political thought and such, but i see what you mean. Dont worry though i never fall into political bias when writing about the soviet union (what i normally write about). Ill change it though, your probably right. Zhukov 03:17, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Isalogo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Isalogo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 23:51, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
