Class projects and shared accounts
[edit]I saw this edit where you speak on behalf of a class. Allow me provide some advice lest you run into avoidable problems. Firstly, Wikipedia does not allow shared accounts, so your classmates will have to create accounts of their own or edit without logging in - they cannot edit under your account. Secondly, have you had a look at Wikipedia:School and university projects? That page gives advice on class projects and provides helpful links to Wikipedia guidelines and policies (though some of its tips seem rather inapplicable to your project). Again, welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope your class will enjoy the experience and improve the historical Jesus article in the process. History2007 is an extremely knowledgeable and capable editor; I'm sure he'll gladly cooperate with you in improving the page. Yours, Huon (talk) 02:39, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- This account is not going to be a shared account. That is why my account name is my last name and my first and middle initial. However, I will be working with a good many of my colleagues who are very well qualified to improve the page. Many of us will have accounts in the coming days. I signed that comment on behalf on all of us because I wanted to formally reintroduce ourselves and to tell the rest of the editors that we will be making a plethora of changes in the coming weeks. I am sure that History2007 has our best interests in mind for following wikipedia protocol. However, I can tell you that my class has the his best interest in mind for other wikipedia users because we will be bringing the most cutting-edge and respected scholarship onto the Historical Jesus page. I look forward to working with you, History2007 and other wikipedia editors. Regards, Levinrh (talk) 03:16, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Tgeorgescu. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Historical Jesus without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tgeorgescu (talk) 23:38, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hint: perhaps you should use another browser, like Chrome or Firefox, since what you are using now has totally messed up the references. That's why your contribution has been reverted without pardon. If you use some sort of academic writing software, stop using it upon Wikipedia. Tgeorgescu (talk) 23:55, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
