Username concern
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies that you might intend to disrupt Wikipedia. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?
I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.
You have several options freely available to you:
- If you can relieve my concern through discussing it here, I can stop worrying about it.
- If the two of us can't agree here, we can ask for help through Wikipedia's dispute resolution process, such as requesting comments from other Wikipedians. Wikipedia administrators usually abide by agreements reached through this process.
- You can keep your contributions history under a new username. Visit Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the guidelines there.
Thank you. haz (talk) 15:26, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Not a problem, *****************. The word hack has several meanings, but so long as your contributions are positive, there should be no problems.
- Interesting to hear that you're from the Rheindahlen area! I haven't lived there since I was very young, but I've lived in Osnabrück a couple of times. I haven't lived outside the United Kingdom since 2000, though.
- In the future, you may want to note that you can indent replies to comments on talk pages like I'm doing here by using a colon at the beginning of the line (or more, for further comments – for more information, see Help:Editing) and you should always sign comments on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~). Hope that helps! haz (talk) 08:16, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- I looked at your user page, where you've revealed a little about yourself. No problem, by the way! haz (talk) 08:03, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
about sea tigers weaponery
[edit]i seriously doube the sea tigers operate the QBZ-95 assault rifle, that rifle has only ben used by the chinese army and its expoer versions by cambodia and burma. there is no proof that the sea tigers use the rifle and therefore i have removed that prticular gun, cheers Btzkillerv (talk) 19:26, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
well i doubt it personally but they might have purchased the export qbz-97 from america and that version is semi-automatic, chances are the rebels might actually be sri lankan army soldiers whom china sold the rifle to Btzkillerv (talk) 20:33, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
- yeah thats the qbz-97, the export version of the rifle, it must have been either brought as a semi-automatic firearm, or captured from sri lankan troops Btzkillerv (talk) 19:19, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- are you a british army soldier? Btzkillerv (talk) 19:20, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
