User talk:Leo1pard/Archive 5
April 2019
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Bear versus bull, from its old location at User:Leo1pard/sandbox/Bear versus bull. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 20:00, 7 April 2019 (UTC)

"Paul McClean" listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Paul McClean. Since you had some involvement with the Paul McClean redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. TSventon (talk) 12:49, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

Outing
[edit]Since I'm confident that you're not using multiple accounts, I haven't blocked you for the attempt at outing Tijkil. I have deleted the revisions, and I have profound reservations about their original username, but your accusations aren't the way to resolve the problem. Don't ever do that. I've raised the matter at ANI. Acroterion (talk) 03:13, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
Acroterion Do you mean my suspicion that Tijkil is a sock-puppet of BigCat82, because of the similarities between their edits, particularly the way they managed that article and talk-page, like these? [1] [2]
Indeed, I warned Tijkil that reporting the other guy for sock-puppetry could become WP:Boomerang. Leo1pard (talk) 05:12, 10 November 2019 (UTC); edited 05:58, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
Leo1pardReally? That was in 2016, I got into this debate mid 2017, getting on wiki early 2019 being a beginner at wikipedia, that is not me, does not even sound like me. –Tijkil (talk) 08:36, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
- Don't ever attempt to reveal someone's off-wiki identity unless they've made it plain on Wikipedia. The more so if you're making defamatory accusations. Acroterion (talk) 15:00, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution (2nd request)
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Tiger versus lion into Lion-baiting. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:00, 16 November 2019 (UTC)
- Diannaa Those are mostly my words, which had been modified time and again by myself, though others did contribute. I reckon I should have mentioned that, thanks. Leo1pard (talk) 08:13, 16 November 2019 (UTC); edited 08:15, 16 November 2019 (UTC)
