Hi Lenosy, I'm afraid that article had to go due to its sourcing and to an extent its slant. Wikipedia is not censored and we do cover some very controversial topics but we are neither a primary source nor a secondary source. If you are going to write here it is important to understand how to use WP:Reliable sources such as newspapers. Articles sourced from one side of a dispute are almost bound to have neutrality problems. ϢereSpielChequers 22:03, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
unsourced BLP violations
[edit]Hi, this edit is a violation of our biographies of living people policy. I have reverted it. Can you provide sources to substantiate that? If not, I will need to suppress it as libelous. John Vandenberg (chat) 23:39, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
- I've suppressed that edit. John Vandenberg (chat) 00:10, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Deletion of Samantha Kelly suicide article
[edit]Hello Lenosy. I've deleted the article as a recent suicide of a child is a particularly sensitive subject and per WP:NOTNEWS. ("Wikipedia considers the enduring notability of persons and events. While news coverage can be useful source material for encyclopedic topics, most newsworthy events do not qualify for inclusion... While including information on recent developments is sometimes appropriate, breaking news should not be emphasized or otherwise treated differently from other information.") If you disagree with this, you can contest the deletion at Wikipedia:Deletion review or let me know on my talk page. Regards, --KFP (contact | edits) 14:07, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
