Your sandbox about Data philanthropy
[edit]Hi Lena, about what you have put in your sandbox until now, I want to make some general remarks:
- You managed very well to get this difficult subject in a form that may fit in Wikipedia!
- Every article must be “embedded” in Wikipedia in two ways:
- a. by linking relevant issues and concepts, e.g. Social networking service, Big data, Telecommunication companies, etc., etc. See: Wikipedia:Links.
- b. by linking back from other articles to your article, e.g. in: the article on Philanthropy, Big data, etc.
- Perhaps you can provide some external links, in a separate paragraph at the bottom, with for instance this un blogpost of 2013. (although in general blogposts are not the best things to link to on Wikipedia. I must say that.)
- Please explain somewhere the relation between your text and Lauren's. As I understand it your text follows after Lauren's. So that makes an introductory paragraph not necessary for you. But you can perhaps summarize the issues that you treat in your part of the article in this introductory paragraph.
I can't be in your class next Friday. Sorry for that. But good luck with the job! --Dick Bos (talk) 19:02, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
