Teaneck thanks
[edit]Len, thanks for making the updates to the Teaneck, New Jersey article. Though it remains near and dear to me as the first article I ever edited, it sometimes suffers from my lack of attention while I'm busy editing every other article in the universe. Thanks for taking the time and effort to go through the dozens of facts and figures that needed updating. Alansohn (talk) 20:48, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Valerie Carter. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 19:03, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for your thoughtful comments. You deleted the commentary that disrupted the flow of the article. I've edited the original entry to reflect the error that was made by the cited source (Billboard Magazine). Now it is informative and correct, and it flows nicely.

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Valerie Carter, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 20:00, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
Jan Carter (Valerie's sister and estate executor) and Kathy Kurasch (Valerie's heir) represent Valerie Carter's estate. They've asked me to correct the error in the Wikipedia article.
I'd be happy to do it in a way that meets Wikipedia's standards. Can you advise?

- Yes, here's what you can do. Get a newspaper or magazine to print a correction, that Carter was not married to Katz. Or get Billboard magazine to print a retraction. After that step is completed, you can follow the Billboard cite with the new cite saying that the previous announcement was in error. Binksternet (talk) 23:48, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
