Map colors?
[edit]Hi, I saw your updated map on US greyhound racing (thanks!), and was wondering if it would be possible to offer an artistic suggestion? While it's a lot less retina-searing than the last map, currently, it's bit hard to read. The three blue/green/grey colors look pretty similar, ditto for the two shades of grey. It took me a fair bit of squinting to figure out CT is live+simulcast (right?), and CA looks at bit ambiguous (an optical illusion caused by the white border on the Pacific side). Could it be done with more-contrasting colors? Or just have two colors for live racing legal vs. not, and then superimposed black cross-hatching lines for states where simulcast is legal?
