[edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to CleanMyMac, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Tornado chaser (talk) 00:20, 12 October 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Meters. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Walt Whitman High School (Bethesda, Maryland) seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Meters (talk) 23:45, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Bar and Bat Mitzvah, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. - Again, read WP:MINOR Adding a reference is not a minor edit. And I didn't ask for the reference in Walt Whitman High School (Bethesda, Maryland). Someone else asked for it in 2015, and you removed the citation needed tag without addressing the problem. I could have just removed the claim, but instead I restored the original maintenance tag and left you a notice. Stop messing around. Meters (talk) 23:58, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
These are not minor edits. And we do not list titles. I diodn't remove it becasue I didn't believe he had a doctorate, I removed it because per the manual of style we do not list titles. The only time they are mentioned is if they are pertinent to the article and are being discussed (for instance, a research scientist's degree and the research he or she is doing. The degree held by a high school administrator is not relevant, and including it violates Wikipedia policy. Meters (talk) 00:10, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Ways to improve Michael Sonnenreich
[edit]Hi, I'm Sadads. Lemonpasta, thanks for creating Michael Sonnenreich!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The piece suggests a lot of familiarity with the author, and suggests that the original writer has a conflict of interest -- sources need to be reviewed by a third party.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hello Lemonpasta,
I was surprised to see you unilaterally downgrading the rating of this article without any talk page discussion. Please read Wikipedia:Good article reassessment and explain why you did this. Thank you. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 02:26, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Cullen328, isn't an A-Class higher then a GA-Class? 02:56, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- No. David notMD (talk) 05:45, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- No. The highest ratings are Featured Article (FA) and Good Article (GA). These ratings involve peer review. All other ratings are lower. You do not yet have either the experience or the understanding of ratings and how they are assessed to work on a high visibility Good Article like Abraham Lincoln. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:55, 15 May 2018 (UTC)

Use your own Sandbox...
[edit]...to draft content. Whenever I want to make major changes to a section, I copy it into my sandbox, work on it there, check that the references are working, and only then move it into the article. David notMD (talk) 05:41, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
Assessing articles
[edit]It's better to leave the assessment of quality and importance to editors who are more experienced, and who have worked within the respective projects - and I think it's always best for an article creator with a conflict of interest not to assess the article themselves. I don't think there is any rule or guideline about it, but sooner or later somebody uninvolved with experience in assessing articles will come along and do it so there's no rush. --bonadea contributions talk 18:10, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- Do you think it's close to C-Class? If it isn't, can you fix or explain what's necessary to make this a C or B class article for the meantime? Lemonpasta (talk) 4:04, 15 May 2018 (EST)
- No. I don't do article assessments, I have no experience in that area, and to be honest I would not do such a thing on behalf of an editor with a conflict of interest. Leave it to someone uninvolved, please - just ignore it until someone comes along to do it. Those categorisations don't really make any difference, other than the GA and FA ones. --bonadea contributions talk 20:28, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- Ok, i'm sorry, I just started really delving into learning how to use wikipedia. Lemonpasta (talk) 20:41, 15 May 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Michael Sonnenreich, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted.
Please also don't use misleading edit summaries, as you did here. Maybe the POV issues have been resolved, but that has to be determined by editors with no conflict of interest. bonadea contributions talk 20:44, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Lemonpasta. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Michael Sonnenreich, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.
Now that you've mentioned on your talk page that you've had contact with the subject of the article, it's necessary to ask that you disclose if you have a close connection or PAID relationship. â jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:49, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
This is solely out of respect, I'm not being paid to do this. Lemonpasta (talk) 21:01, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
I'm interested in civil law and want to help contribute articles to people who've worked in the government. I found his number in the "Green Book" and I told him that I was developing an article about him and wanted him to look it over and make sure that his personal information was accurate, concurring to what I was saying about Prabook citations. Speedy deletion declined: Ethan Sonneborn
[edit]Hello Lemonpasta, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Ethan Sonneborn, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 speedy deletion is only for uncontroversial deletions. This is, judging by the AFD, clearly controversial. If you are interested in learning more about how speedy deletion works, I have compiled a list of helpful pages at User:SoWhy/SDA. You can of course also contact me if you have questions. Thank you. SoWhy 07:11, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:TEIDE.JPG
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:TEIDE.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Discretionary sanctions alert for the area of post-1932 American politics
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
