[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Lemonadegroup", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to be the name of a group or organization. See WP:CORPNAME. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 23:10, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

We would like to create an article about our established events company and are unsure of how to go about doing this. Can you help us? Lemonadegroup (talk) 12:44, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
- Hello! As you have a conflict of interest with the company, you must disclose your COI on the talk page. Instructions for such disclosure are at WP:DISCLOSE.
- After changing your username and properly disclosing your Conflict of Interest, you can use the Articles for Creation process to create a draft article. Instructions are at WP:AFC AntiCompositeNumber (on vacation) (Leave a message) 13:32, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Lemonadegroup. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. AntiCompositeNumber (on vacation) (Leave a message) 13:33, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi There. We checked before creating, and could not find any other "Lemonade Group" so are confused about conflict of interest. Please could you advise where the conflict is? Thank you! Lemonadegroup (talk) 22:07, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
- There are several issues here. Firstly, your use of "we" is problematic since it indicates this account may be accessed by multiple people. That's not permitted; Wikipedia accounts are only for individuals, not for groups or organizations. Only one person may have access to the account. If several of you want to edit Wikipedia, each of you should create an account of their own.
- Secondly, there may be a conflict between your interest in promoting the Lemonade Group and Wikipedia's interest in having neutral, non-promotional articles. People writing about a topic they are closely associated with, such as the company they work for, often find it difficult to maintain a neutral point of view. Huon (talk) 22:32, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.A username should not be promotional, appear to represent a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account. However, you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87". You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. TheSandDoctor Talk 00:00, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
