"Embryo"

[edit]

Your addition was mostly just fine; I tightened the language just a bit and formatted the reference, and dropped it back a paragraph to put The Final Cut at the heading of its own paragraph. - dharmabum 20:48, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I liked your reworking of the paragraph -- it's the kind of thing that requires a seasoned editor. This article is getting better all the time ^-^ - leifbk 21:46, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree; of the 0.01% of the articles on Wikipedia considered good enough for featured status, I think it's in a handful of the very best (partially because it went through candidacy fairly recently, and standards have become a lot more strict than they were a couple years ago). - dharmabum 22:36, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hallvard Graatop

Let's discuss this on the talk page rather than defiling Wikipedia with vitriol. I am also hereby giving you fair warning under the Three Revert Rule.Wogsland 22:31, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks interesting I will try and install it. Gioto (talk) 11:04, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I was wondering if you could help save this article from deletion. Its currently up for afd. I;m certain something in Norwegian can be translated to expand it. I think it is notable but google is lacking. Could you consider seeing (this and This ) and try to expand it. Brynjar Å is also another form of the name. Could you help mate? ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 13:48, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't know. I was vaguely aware of the name, but there's very little about him on the 'net, and the Norwegian Wiki article is even shorter than the English one. The guy seems to deliberately stay away from media. As I neither have read his books nor have planned to, and don't feel like a literary critic anyway, I can hardly contrive a Wikipedia article about him out of thin air. But he seems like a sympathic fellow. leifbk (talk) 14:53, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:20, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just thought I'd let you know I reworked Hallvard Graatop a little, to try to separate Graatop and Vraalstad a bit more clearly, and make it look more like an article and less like an argument. I recently found (seemingly sound, but still investigating) that I'm a descendant of the Vralstad and Paus families, so it's a subject I've been trying to read up on. -- Jake (talk) 18:48, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thank you, this looks like an interesting approach for a new start at the article. I hope that Wogsland won't resist changes this time.
