Front mission 1st character profiles

[edit]

While I applaud your efforts to detail all the FM characters (that's some wicked book you got there btw), would it be possible if you trimmed it down a bit? the entire section was removed today, but i restored it in the hope that you will cut the excess data down. I hate to see the same thing happen to that of FM4. Thanks. Eaglestorm 13:40, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FM5

[edit]

thanks for separating the ranks as i did last night. even if the bios were translated, i think it's Ok to put in pronouns alongside the names. that's what i did with the stuff from FM1st. saw your FM5 intro video in Youtube BTW. i so want to order the game and the book. FM4 box art FUR

[edit]

Thanks for putting the fair-use rationale, though Thunderbrand should have included it when he posted the image in the first place. He's got a lot of similar warnings on his talk page. --Eaglestorm (talk) 07:20, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FM Characters

[edit]

Just letting you know that all of the character articles will most likely be redirected to the main "Reoccurring characters" list as a result of the current Articles for Deletion discussions. One series character list is usually allowed, and inherit notability from the series. Although, lists for each individual game in a series is not allowed. If you wish for them to be separate, then they must show notability through coverage in third party reliable sources. Blake (Talk·Edits) 01:30, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Would combining all of the data and references in the single game articles to form a separate series list of characters, for single game-only appearances, be sufficient? I was originally planning to do a second series list of characters in addition to the one I had made for recurring characters. Or would it be more beneficial to have a more complete listing of characters, recurring and single game? I had a look at similar video game-related pages and found either the articles listed recurring characters, standalone characters, or both. User talk:LegaiaRules 06:20, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would say that if they are primary characters in a game, not secondary, then they could belong on the main list. You might could add secondary characters if you could find sources for them. Thanks, Blake (Talk·Edits) 13:36, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just wanted to say good job on List of Front Mission media, I just saw it. That's looking pretty sharp. You might be interested in joining the Square Enix WikiProject; while we tend to focus more on Final Fantasy than some of the other franchises we cover everything SE develops, including Front Mission. See our index for what articles we cover, where I've just added in that list of media. --PresN 01:39, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, have you ever considered nominating this as a Featured List at WP:FLC? I think it would pass with no problem; when I went through and played with the formatting and such I was making it look like List of Final Fantasy video games, which I brought to FLC last fall. It's basically all your work, so I figured you should have first shot at nominating it; I'd be willing to help out with any comments that arise at the nomination but can't nominate it myself, as I have an FLC outstanding right now and probably will have another when it ends. Let me know if you don't want to nominate it as I'm sure I could find somebody else to do it; just thought I should ask you first. --PresN 23:56, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Since you didn't respond, I've asked for a member of WikiProject Square Enix to do the nomination instead here. Hope you don't mind! --PresN 01:24, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
