User talk:Le Addeur noir
Welcome
[edit]Hello, Le Addeur noir, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.
If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question. Thanks. -Fnlayson (talk) 13:45, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at USS Essex (LHD-2), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - theWOLFchild 15:08, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in USS Essex (LHD-2). There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Note: If you're not sure how to add content (and you must've known your edit looked out of place), then ask for help. You can request assistance on the articles' talk page or at Wikipedia's Help Desk. Please don't just randomly dump content into articles, as it just creates work for others that have to clean up after you. If you have any more additions you'd like to add to the Essex page, just ask, and I or someone else will be happy to assist you. Thank you - theWOLFchild 20:08, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for contributing to the article RAF Northolt. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the claims (see here for how to do inline referencing). If you need further help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse, or just ask me. Thank you. Dormskirk (talk) 15:29, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
