Jim Zeigler

[edit]

I don't understand it. I made several additions (not just the deletion) to Jim Zeigler's Wikipedia that included detailed citations. Now, every single one of them is gone. These were citations to newspaper articles and everything. Why on earth have they been removed? All the best. Belledoll (talk) 02:00, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Belledoll, I only undid your edits where you removed significant content from that page. As for the removal of your additions to the page, that would be a better question to ask Slywriter, as that was their decision. Lcodyh803 (talk) 02:46, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Re. Colon Lambert

[edit]

I think you have made a mistake. I have recently met and interviewed the man himself and he specifically quoted that this is correct. Please remove your edit. Sincerely, Ethan TurbobonesXKR (talk) 17:06, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry TurbobonesXKR, but the article of Colin Lambert is a Biography of a Living Person (BLP), and as such needs sources for all information added. If you had a source for this, I may not have reverted it, but the information itself was most likely not even relevant enough to warrant an addition anyways. Lcodyh803 (talk) 17:19, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

[edit]

Thanks for the work around here!

S0091 (talk) 00:12, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I appreciate it S0091! :) Lcodyh803 (talk) 00:19, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

[edit]

I've reverted your edit to the Bibo Bergeron page because the source you use did not appear (based on Google Translate) to mention that he was arrested in 2020 (or even mention the number 2020), only that he was indicted in 2019. Do you have another source (even if it's not in English) that specifically mentions his arrest this year? Sakura CarteletTalk 21:24, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine with me Sakura Cartelet, I was reformatting the ref that an ip put in there - I should've paid closer attention to the source itself. Thank you! Lcodyh803 (talk) 21:28, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Women in Red

[edit]

Hi there, Lcodyh803, and welcome to Women in Red. You're joining at the right time as we have a year-long focus on sports. I see you have already created two biographies but you might still find it useful to look through our Ten Simple Rules. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance.--Ipigott (talk) 10:55, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Perhap we can keep an eye

[edit]

...together on the PFP article where you just corrected the vandalism. I did the same earlier today, over two instances. I can watch for another couple of hours. You? Cheers. 2601:246:C700:19D:B160:B273:E4A3:8B0F (talk) 04:13, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

[edit]

I put sources there by mistake and I did add those sources to article so you should read before REVERT. Thanks Nickayane99 (talk) 19:34, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nickayane99, this edit you made was unsourced in the article. Even if you did put the sources in the edit summary by mistake somehow, it's not my job to move them into the article. If you're going to make the edit, make sure you put the sources in correctly. Here is a guide to referencing. Lcodyh803 (talk) 19:41, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The one confirmed case, a Chinese tourist, has recovered completely and is likely to be discharged soon, doctors at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH) said:[1] Can you see that, it's not your job to revert without reading properly.. If you're going to make the revert , make sure you read carefully and it's not my job to teach you how to read Nickayane99 (talk) 19:50, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nickayane99 All I'm saying is in the future be sure to cite correctly. No need to get snarky. See the link to the guide above to learn the citation guidelines. Lcodyh803 (talk) 19:58, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello.. I am new here but i have a screenshot of Mina telling me to change her picture to her twitter pic. is there any way we can make this permanent? she doesnt like the old pic that is on this website — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikeryanfanaccount1 (talkcontribs) 22:18, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mikeryanfanaccount1 Whoever holds the copyright can use this copyright release generator to allow the picture on wikipedia. Until then do not add the picture back. Thank you. Lcodyh803 (talk) 22:46, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Carmine the snake

[edit]

I would have reverted the death entry, as well. For all I knew, it could have been a real snake. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 01:20, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate the comment, Arthur Rubin - at the time my thought was that someone had just added their dead snake to the list. But I'm glad someone fixed it, nevertheless. Lcodyh803 (talk) 02:21, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors Page

[edit]

I am the Vice President, Communications at the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors and I edited our page to update the current structure and organization. It appears you reverted back to the previous text. The changes I made reflect the accurate nature of our organization.

Shelton Roulhac, I reverted your edit because you removed the infobox, a reference, and added biased content. Unfortunately, the fact that you work at this association means that you have a conflict of interest. Editing articles about your employer is strongly discouraged. You may make uncontroversial edits, but your edit added biased content, so I have removed it. Lcodyh803 (talk) 19:36, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Understood. Is there anything I can do to ensure the accuracy of the page?

Shelton Roulhac, if there is something you feel should be changed, you can make a request on the article talk page, and an unbiased editor can choose to make the change for you. Be aware that edit requests for a major change without a reliable source are likely to be declined. Lcodyh803 (talk) 19:51, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Content removed

[edit]

Hello. An user can't understand the notability about some facts. Even if these facts are denied by Amanda Lear. Of course, I'm talking about Amanda Lear's page. These facts are sourced. Politicians or criminals deny informations wich are on Wikipedia. If sources exist, it can be on their pages. Lolamelody123456 (or whatever IPs of Lolamelody123456) continue to remove content. I'm not an English native speaker. So it's not easy to explain what I'm thinking about. But I notice on Lolamelody123456's talk page her habit to remove. I wish her to understand. How is it possible? Thank you. Best regards. Eliedion (talk) 22:10, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Eliedion, if there is a dispute on whether to include something in an article, it's best to bring it up on the article talk page. You should ping the editor you have a disagreement with, and have a discussion there. Lcodyh803 (talk) 22:35, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
