How to reply to another contributor, who gently queried an amendment I made.

I'm very much a beginner here, and there seems to be nothing so simple as a 'Reply' button...

If you want to reply to someone, I highly suggest doing so underneath their original comments (much like I'm doing here). Simply edit the page (or section) and add your comments. If you want to also give them notification that you're talking directly to them, use {{ping|Example}}, where "Example" is their username. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process.
