Counter proposal

It seems to me that all this drama could be quickly resolved as follows:

You sign a statement saying that this edit was not intended to be a personal attack and was not directed at me;
I agree that you may keep your user page in that form, and I will make every reasonable effort to persuade other admins to drop this matter.

I have no problem with that at all.

My semi-retired statement was not intended to be a personal attack and was not directed at SheffieldSteel.

User:SheffieldSteel/list

I thought that you should know that your name is included on what appears to be a personal "hit list" of admin SheffieldSteel's. My name is also included on this inappropriate list. As far as I'm concerned, that list has got to go and the admin in question forced to resign. Caden S (talk) 06:14, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
