Hi Lauren! I know you are a established user in Wikipedia. But please try to follow common name and common style of writing in English language, such as Golden Horde and Yuan emperor. Also, try to have communication to others whennoever necessary to solve potential problems, thanks! --Chinyin (talk) 22:59, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If we follow scientific knowledge it would be useful for everyone including those who are interested and professionals. So I removed your edits. Hope you are not disappointed. Please don't harass me. The word, Golden Horde, is still there! Did i delete it? Thank you!--Lauren68 (talk) 19:15, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I did not harass anyone, but please see, Golden Horde is the usual name, so it should be in front (as the title), but other names like Ulus of Jochi are mentioned soon too. Not to mention the usage of uncommon terms like Yuan Khaganate etc. Try to be more familiar for everyone, but also may contain more deeper knowledge later in the article. Thanks. --Chinyin (talk) 21:59, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Now, I am glad you are more gentle and patient. --Lauren68 (talk) 18:13, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry if you consider my original wording is not very gentle or patient. But I'm indeed willing to improve the attitude if not good enough. Anyway, thanks for the reminder (but it's better to do it friendly; I'll try to do the same do). --Chinyin (talk) 20:09, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Merry Christmas holiday and happy New Year

[edit]

Hi Lauren68! I am not sure if it is a public holiday (or how many days it will last) in the country you are in now, but I wish you to have a good mood during the Christmas period and also be happy upon the arrival of the New Year. Let's try to make Wikipedia even more friendly. Thanks a lot! --Chinyin (talk) 03:08, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Chinyin! Merry Christmas! and Happy New Year! I wish you have all you are dreaming of next year.--Lauren68 (talk) 17:39, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you too, my friend. ̼⌂̺͛ᴖ̲̿ᴥ̲̿ᴖ̺͛⌂̼ --Chinyin (talk) 17:58, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Hi friend, there seems to be a conflict happened in the Inner Mongolia article, have you noticed of it? If you have time, hope you could make it as would usually be, instead of a version that would contain reversed information. Thanks. --Chinyin (talk) 17:09, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

More than 60 percent of wiki articles contain mistakes.--Lauren68 (talk) 08:14, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Then try to correct them when you find mistakes and have time (also by your best effort). This does not mean you have to correct all of them, but usually the most obvious and noticeable ones at least. This applies to me (and everyone else) as well; personally I'm afraid I won't have as much time as previously any more, but I'll try my best of course. Wikipedia will get better when everyone tries to operate in this way as to improve it.. --Chinyin (talk) 12:43, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also I find I have personally gradually lost interest in this particular area. In Wikipedia of course we can enter or leave an area of topics as we wish, but I will see what I should do next. Best. --Chinyin (talk) 14:02, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I no longer want to be involved in disputes, which are harmful to WP as a whole. It's better to return to usual edits, i.e. the peaceful ones. --Chinyin (talk) 16:48, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm glad to see you edit with the account though. Nevertheless, it's also important to not knowingly edit articles with possibly some POVs or maybe in a way towards more radical ones, no matter other editor(s) are interested in such articles or not (indeed, my own focus is currently no longer on WP). But in any case, WP should be grown in a different way, and thanks for making more constructive edits with less "colored" approach; the latter will effectively cause less disputes. Thanks for making WP better. --Chinyin (talk) 21:13, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Mongol Empire shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 04:20, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Mongol Invasions of Vietnam

[edit]

Hello Lauren68, before any pointless editing war erupts, I would like to ask how the 1258 Mongol invasion was, according to you, a "Mongol Tactical Victory" when the article itself states that in the end of the 1258 invasion, the Mongols were ultimately defeated and driven out in a surprise attack. In addition, can you really refute the countless sources online which clearly state that Dai Viet under general Tran Hung Dao defeated the Mongols three times on each of their invasion? Please refute these points before undoing any edits.TTTAssasinator (talk) 03:29, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kevin Keasey requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://business.leeds.ac.uk/departments-accounting-finance/staff/70/professor-kevin-keasey. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - RichT|C|E-Mail 17:54, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
