There are some issues with your article Laura J. Woods. It appears much of it was taken from your page on the Colorado Senate site. It has been modified but still appears to have such a close relationship to the Senate page that it has been flagged. I declined the request to delete the page as it appears the material is being re-worked. Please do so quickly.

Please also read WP:COI which covers the possible conflict of interest you have writing your own page. If I can assist in any way, please send me a message. JodyB talk 23:21, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I fixed the article and I think we now avoid the copyvio issues. However, we really need a source which talks about your campaign and your work in the second recall election. A photo would be good too. Make sure the person who takes the pic is the one who uploads it and releases it into the public domain. Also, you really should avoid editing your own article. That's a big red flag. The article there now and others will add to it. If I can help, let me know. JodyB talk 13:18, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Laura J Woods. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hi! Please excuse the boilerplate text above. I just wanted to make clear that, however strange it may seem, we strongly prefer that people do not edit their own articles. It looks as if this was not fully explained to you earlier. You are of course welcome at any time to propose changes or improvements by posting on the talk page of the article, or indeed to edit any other article in the the encyclopaedia. Best regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:38, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
