Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Lasap777777, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

[edit]Hi, I saw that you had assigned this article to yourself. I noted that the article is of Good Article quality, which means that it's more comprehensive or "complete" than other articles on Wikipedia. As such, it's going to be far more difficult to find content to add to the article than it would be for an article that is of start or stub class. The page is also more heavily watched, so it's vital that you read over the article's talk page and discuss any new edits or major changes on the article's talk page prior to editing. It doesn't mean that you can't edit or add content, just that the higher quality an article is the more likely that there will be some pushback of some type, even if somewhat. - I also want you to review this brochure on editing ecology topics, as it gives valuable tips and insight on editing. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:37, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I saw that you added material verbatim from this paper listed at the NCBI website. Please be aware that not everything in this website is in the public domain - it hosts papers from journals that have copyrights that restrict its material from being republished elsewhere. Work should be written in your own words in order to prevent issues with copyright and plagiarism. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:59, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- The material was also removed because the source wasn't seen as reliable - I'm not entirely certain as to the reasons for this, so I'm going to ping the removing editor so they can give a brief explanation. (@Alexbrn:) The material should not be re-added in any form until the concerns have been met. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:00, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- The edit has been redacted (for WP:COPYVIO) but as I recall there were some medical claims being sourced to a marginal journal - i.e. not MEDLINE indexed which is a warning flag. Any WP:Biomedical information needs to be sourced to WP:MEDRS. Alexbrn (talk) 14:21, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
