Speedy deletion nomination of Super Skin Lightener
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Super Skin Lightener, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of Super Skin Lightener and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. We hope (talk) 18:03, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Thank you Airplaneman
[edit]Thank you Airplaneman, for your welcome and your cookies. I wish I could offer you a coffee in return.
Are you an editor/moderator or a member? Forgive me, i've yet to learn about the chatting here. Am I using the signature the right way? and what is important about it, that we need to add it to the end of our name? Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards
Larry Reuben (LarryReuben (talk) 07:43, 17 October 2010 (UTC)).
- Airplaneman is a moderator/admin on this site, which basically means he has a few more technical tools. ~~~~ is used as a substitute for your name, it's just more convenient to use tildes rather than typing "Larry Reuben" for instance. It's used so we can easily identify who is commenting - very convenient when multiple people are commenting on the same thread at once. —Dark 08:24, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- Just logged in today - it was my pleasure welcoming you; we could always use more contributors! And yes, I am a 100% volunteer who just has some extra buttons and edits here as a (major) hobby. What's funny is that when I first signed up, I created an article about some random brand of skincare lotion I had in my house (Eucerin), and it was tagged for deletion for much the same reason (WP:G11, advertising). It was in a much poorer state than the one you created (a one-sentence stub if I recall correctly). I'm also pretty sure I had an eye doctor with the same name as you (:o). So more on talk pages: Help:Using talk pages and Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines are pages to refer to. DarkFalls already explained the importance of signatures (more at Wikipedia:Signatures). He's also an administrator, by the way.
- Some tips: the last paragraph of your Super Skin Lightener page may be suitable for integration with the Skin whitening article, as it seems to carry general facts about skin lightening/whitening products. I'm on the fence about the "unambiguous advertising" claim, however (I actually ran into you while reviewing the speedy deletion request; they're all listed here). I hope this answers a few of your questions. If you have any more, just ask. Happy editing, Airplaneman ✈ 15:50, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
I need help
[edit]{{helpme}}
Dark thank you. I think I need some help, about the notice at the top. I plan on adding more material, but obviously cannot do so in one sitting. If you have any suggestions on what I should add first, i'd be grateful.
Regarding the "if you can indicate why my page is not unambiguous.." I want to draw attention to pigmentation problems and safe alternatives to dangerous skin lightening creams and chemicals, for people who lighten their skin for cosmetic reasons, or skin conditons.
Kind Regards

- You would need to establish the product's notability, to conform to our notability guidelines. If you could find an English source proving that the product is "the first skin lightening formula to be launched worldwide", it would be helpful. —Dark 09:17, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
OK
[edit]Dark Thank you. I don't have a notability source to hand in English. But if I come across one, I will add it.
Kind Regards --Larry Reuben (talk) 09:45, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Airplaneman
Thank you for your help. I added the Skin Whitening section or linked it as you call it here to the last paragraph. That's a useful page too and cited. Well I'm sure i'm sure I am not your eye doctor :) My speciality is topical treatments for skin, and skin conditions, toxicology and chemicals. I hope to share knowledge and gain information here.
Thanks much, and to Dark too.

Last Bit was for Airplaneman
[edit]I am not yet proficient here. The last post was meant to go under "Airplaneman's" response.

Hello,
My page has been moderated, "the orphan" notice asks for links and an editor/moderator put the language links to foreign wikipedia's but if you click them they are blank. My language is English. Will these foreign pages help in "unorphaning" my article, and how do I do that.
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards --Larry Reuben 22:21, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi. No, interwiki links don't help there; it is about having links from other articles on English Wikipedia; see Wikipedia:Orphan. Chzz ► 22:43, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
Chzz, thanks, i've now de-orphaned.
