Information icon Hello, I'm DD2K. I noticed that you recently removed some content from United States presidential election, 2012 without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Dave Dial (talk) 13:43, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I keep changing the total on the 2012 US Presidential Election because that link is OLD. 4 states have since amended/updated their vote totals since that link you keep posting was finished. The states of New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and Wisconsin have since UPDATED/AMENDED their vote totals since that link you keep posting was done. I will continue to change it as long as you keep posting that OLD LINK from the FEC.

Some would consider the .Doc file used by Wasserman not to be a reliable source, or original research. You aren't supposed to remove a reliable source because you don't like it. Wasserman's .Doc is probably correct, but we can wait for someone to either get Talk page consensus to use it, or the FEC to become up to date. We don't need to have an edit war because of a small percentage of votes are not reported yet. Dave Dial (talk) 03:36, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
