User talk:Lar/ACE2009
This is the talk page for the table page showing my opinions. Please keep it non technical. If you want to discuss the markup, or the row template used in it, please use the row talk page instead. Thanks. Note that there was some pretty lively (but very well mannered) discussion at last year's talk page (User talk:Lar/ACE2008) and it would be swell if we had the same here.
Please respect my talk page guidelines:
- User:Lar/Pooh Policy (post here, get a reply here, post elsewhere, get a reply elsewhere)
- User:Lar/Eeyore Policy (My page, my rules, within reason... stuff said here stays here, you can strike if you like but your words remain... I refactor as needed. No edit warring)
Have fun!
Round two!
[edit]Given how enlightening (and entertaining) our disagreement of last year ended up being, I look forward to our discussion of our disagreements this year. :-) — Coren (talk) 21:04, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- Bring it! :) ++Lar: t/c 02:32, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Well, you didn't leave me much to object to, did you? :-) I can't even fault you on qualifying me as prickly when I feel my integrity has been questioned: even I realize I can be oversensitive at times. I suppose that's part professional deformation. — Coren (talk) 11:42, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'll have to give you a hard time elsewhen to make up for it. I was thinking about asking about the whole pornsite thing but think that's been overworked. ++Lar: t/c 21:37, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- Well truth be told, I'm not sure how appropriate that would have been as a question unless formulated very gingerly: it would be discussing a client of mine rather than myself— and I'd be hard pressed to justify the relevance to my holing an ArbCom seat. There's probably an interesting discussion to be held (elsewhere than on WR) about my related stance on freedom of expression, and my unashamed "liberal bias" (at least on the US spectrum), though, and possibly some relevance of that towards my candidacy.
- (For those who stumble on this discussion without the related context: In my professional life, I sell hosting services to a number of websites, one of which is an archive of very explicit sexual stories covering most every paraphilia there is. That association was raised on Wikipedia Review.) — Coren (talk) 21:45, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm running too...
[edit]I believe that you forgot to add me to the list of candidates during your most recent update. -MBK004 05:19, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- My apologies. I will do that and add in my questions as well if someone else hasn't already... thanks for the reminder! The election draws nigh so I'm glad you let me know. ++Lar: t/c 21:23, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Your questions
[edit]Sorry I only answered half your questions so far. I had schoolwork I had to take care of, been mostly editing with a blackberry, which doesn't have tools like Microsoft Word I could use. I also entered during the last day. I promise I'll finish them tommorrow. Thanks Secret account 00:44, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Your postscript at User:Lar/ACE2010 encourages readers to comment at this talk subpage from 2009. Maybe you want to make a new subpage for 2010. 69.111.192.233 (talk) 06:51, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- The postscript is supposed to point to User talk:Lar/ACE2010... which is already created. Good catch! I was wondering why no comments yet. Thanks. ++Lar: t/c 07:19, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
