Peter Halley
[edit]Hi Lanqiaoru when you made this edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Peter_Halley&diff=prev&oldid=926337034, you made it look as if Lan was actually mentioned in the source. That is not true. In fact, NONE of these "prominent" students are mentioned in that catalogue. If you want to mention Halley's students, then you must find an independent, reliable source and provide a citation for each student individually and not add one that isn't mentioned. [edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Peter Halley. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Vexations (talk) 22:00, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
Teaching
[edit]I am his student. And all of those on the Painting list are his students because we all have to sign up with to have him to do studio visits with us. It is obvious that if he was teaching at Yale he was not just doing administrative work, but actually TEACHING. Also, I am currently writing my doctoral dissertation proposal that includes him as one of my influencing artists. It will be published as a dissertation, probably not soon yet but in maybe in 2 years or so.
