My Rfa

Well I jumped of the plane and without a parachute, please make any comments here, thanks for your time. - 19:20, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Username?

Just wondered if you might re-consider your username. 'Bugger' is quite offensive in many contexts. Whilst, you are entitled to use it, I think it is only fair to warn you, that I would strongly oppose us ever sysopping an account with this username. Blocked by 'lankybugger' is not, I think, the type of image a serious encyclopedia wants. Maybe you'd consider dropping the last three letters of your username?--Docg 00:37, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

I personally see nothing wrong with bugger, but that is my opinion. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 16:20, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Geographical issue. Bugger has a much stronger connotation in British English than American. Newyorkbrad 16:22, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Hmmm, interesting. I can see why there might be an objection. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 16:23, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Hence why I'm seeing if I can switch to just User:Lanky. I don't really want people associating sodomy with me. Or at least, not when I'm trying to have a conversation with them about something unrelated. Cheers, LankybuggerYell16:24, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Hmm, wonder if you change your name, will your presence then no longer defile a page? -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 16:26, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Lord I hope not... Then I'd have to remove that Userbox of mine! Cheers, LankybuggerYell16:27, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
I really like that userbox by the way! -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 16:28, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:MenAtWorkDiamond.svg

Thanks for uploading Image:MenAtWorkDiamond.svg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:09, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Tagged appropriately. Cheers, LankybuggerYell18:21, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

VS GA

Thanks for your comments on the Vagrant Story article. I've placed what Fair Use rationale needed and Sources I could trace back, but it'll take some time for copyediting and filling the Development section. English is not exactly my first language, so please excuse the horrendous grammar and spelling errors. I'll try to do what's necessary in time for your next review. — Bluerです。 なにか? 19:04, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Vagant Story Image

Hello,

I found the image Image:Ashley and callo by akihiko yoshida.jpg looking through fan made Vagrant Story pages that I googled, I don't remember which exact page. How should I state that in the image source? Can you do it? Thanks. --xDCDx 21:42, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Dmc chen.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Dmc chen.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:10, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

Barnstar

Please accept my thanks for both the star and the vote of support (and suggestions) for the Raptors FA nomination. Hopefully I can continue being inspired! And I wish you well in your wiki endeavours too. You've been an asset. Chensiyuan 05:09, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello, Lanky. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Dmc final 27.jpg) was found at the following location: User talk:Lanky/Archive 1. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 02:47, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
