Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on 33 Portland Place, by Rowing88, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because 33 Portland Place is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting 33 Portland Place, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate 33 Portland Place itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 02:49, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

G'day Lankaputra,

welcome to Wikipedia! I've just removed the spam tags from your article, 33 Portland Place, but I agree with the tagger that the article could use some work. Two important things to consider when writing an article are, most importantly, avoiding bias. On Wikipedia, we always strive to write from a neutral point of view. This means we don't insert our personal opinions — when you describe a house as "excellent", for example, or a woman as "beautiful", although you may well be right, you're introducing your own opinion, which is frowned upon here.

The second thing is, we try to always write from reliable sources where possible, and to always credit our sources in the article. It's rather like writing a report in high school or university in that respect. Because just about anyone can add to Wikipedia, we like them to be able to show where they got their information, our readers know that the information is reliable, and we're not just making it up. If you could provide details in the article of what your sources are, that would be tops. Cheers, fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 05:12, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
