Tattoo userbox

[edit]

Hello, I was just checking on some pictures I uploaded to see if any of them are in use on any new pages and I see that you are using Image:Man with tattoo on his back - at the beach - cropped.jpg in a userbox about tattoos. Did you make this userbox yourself? I consider it an honor that you chose one of my photos out of all the ones available. Have you considered submitting it to Wikipedia_talk:Userboxes/New_Userboxes? I'm always happy to see my images getting used - it makes it worthwhile to go through the trouble of uploading them! Johntex\talk 19:45, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see your user name listed as a member of the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Chicago. I do not know if you are aware that we are attempting to revive the CHICOTW. See our results history. Proposed deletion of Plainskin

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Plainskin, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Neologism. Dicdef at best.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
