[edit]Re: Email request for help with format issues
[edit]Hello, LanceT. A belated welcome to Wikipedia! I'm afraid I won't be able to assist you to any great extent with Draft:GB & Smith. I'm very busy with several other projects, and the subject is not in my powerhouse. I also doubt that the topic is notable, and wouldn't want to give you false hope that the draft will ever be approved. There are a million other ways you can improve Wikipedia, and I encourage you to explore those. Creating new articles is one of the most difficult things to do and has a low probability of success.
If you decide to continue with GB & Smith, be sure to declare any connection you have to them. If you have an external relationship with GB & Smith, you may have a conflict of interest. People with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, see the conflict of interest guideline and frequently asked questions for organizations. In particular, please:
- avoid creating or editing articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;
- instead, request an article from an unrelated editor at Wikipedia:Requested articles;
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to notability of companies, neutral point of view, and sourcing. Worldbruce (talk) 19:50, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Worldbruce: I second your opinion that there is a COI here. At the very least, the editor here appears to be a WP:SPA. LanceT has not declared COI as requested so if LanceT continues to edit without doing so, I suggest we approach WP:COINB with our concerns. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:53, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
- @Walter Görlitz: Thanks for the ping, this had dropped off my radar. I've watchlisted it, and will refresh my memory about it with a detailed examination as soon as I have time. That may not be for several weeks, unless something like a nomination for deletion imposes a more pressing deadline. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:51, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

April 2016
[edit]Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Regression testing, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Draft:Administration Intelligence concern
[edit]Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Administration Intelligence, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.
You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.
Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 22:25, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Administration Intelligence
[edit]Hello, LanceT. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Administration Intelligence".

Speedy deletion nomination of Wiiisdom
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Wiiisdom, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. atmxwl ☿ 18:36, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Conflict of Interest
[edit]Hello, LanceT. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. TomStar81 (Talk) 20:17, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
