Articles about Uruguayan Primera Division
[edit]- (in English) Hi and welcome. Don't worry about your good work. Technical mistakes happens on Wikipedia. Anyway, the older existant articles are favoured as titles also because it seems a standard title also linked on the {{Primera División Uruguaya seasons}}. Regarding the content, usage of {{merge to}} means that the content you added will not be lost, but integrated into the existant article, as standard. By the way, I have seen that the recent seasons of Uruguayan 1era Div. (from 2007) are named with "season". But I don't know the reason of this recent change. In this cases could be useful a general discussion in the related WikiProject to choose a standard title with or without "season" or to explain why from 2007 the articles are named "season" (but this is out of my -poor- knowledge about the Uruguayan 1era Div.). Good work and regards and... don't worry, my English is far away to be perfect... And my Spanish too. :-) --Dэя-Бøяg 01:07, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
- (in Spanish) Hola y bienvenido. No te preocupes por tu buen trabajo. Errores técnicos sucede sobre Wikipedia. Entonces...
- Good work
Ok, you can merge if you wish. Of course, Wikipedia has no article owners :-) ... Anyway I may watch and fix (if necessary), if I'm still awake. Regarding the league table, take care of a thing: "Equipo - PJ - PG - PE - PP - GF - GC - DG - PTS" are in Spanish. In English, as for the other tables into existant articles, the correspondant acronyms are: "Club - P - W - D - L - GF - GA - GD - PTS". The parameter "GD" ("DG" in Spanish) is not present into the correspondant old articles. Good work and... ah, about the standard title ("season" or not, or why "season" from 2007), is better to wait. I think answers will arrive. Regards. --Dэя-Бøяg 02:09, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
- Well... Done :-) with the merging of articles. I've controlled and made some technical fixes (replacing template and category and adding RSSSF website link under its original section "references" -even if it isn't an "inline" citation, it's a standard and valid reference for other "Primera División" articles-). Only a thing: be careful leaving old content (as templates and categories or RSSSF link in "references" with the original form Uruguay - List of final tables (RSSSF)) in case of further edits. By the way... Ok, it was a good collaborative "super fix". Regards and good work. PS: never mind, distracitons happens :-) --Dэя-Бøяg 03:40, 13 August 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Deadbeef. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Talk:List of football stadiums in Uruguay, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Deadbeef 20:10, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
How to move a page
[edit]Hi again :-) . Well, I've seen your contribs on Uruguayan Football Stadiums, adding some markup fixes to the tables and other minor corrections. For example, with your contribs the article is now a list that follows different criteria (list by division and by capacity), no more a "simple-single" list. Good work. Anyway, after the fixes, I've redirected it again to List of football stadiums in Uruguay (of course the content you added has been saved over there). I've done this edit because the correct way to change a title to an article is not to create a new title and redirecting the older one to it. Due to the fact that List of football stadiums in Uruguay has an older and longer chronology and was created in 2009, the correct form is to request a move adding in the talk the template {{Requested move}}. As you can see, I've added the request here, in the way to help you to attempt to move the title in the proper technical way. So you can vote there to move the title. By the way, I've now voted "oppose" to move because I have seen that the articles in the Category:Lists of association football stadiums are all titled in the form List of football stadiums in xxx. Anyway, I'll follow the developments of requested move and maybe change my idea. Good work and regards :-) --Dэя-Бøяg 15:44, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
