[edit]Just so you know, if you want to add references to an article, there are certain conditions that have to be satisfied for the reference to count as a valid source. Firstly, it has to be a reliable source, such as a published book or work published by a reputable media outlet — you cannot just reference stuff to, for example, individual Blogspot blogs or one-man outfits like the Halifax Examiner. And secondly, it has to be independent of the article topic — so an article is not properly referenced if the references are to content on his own website, or to content published by his own employer (such as video of CTV Atlantic's own newscasts, or Bell Media's own self-published press releases about itself), or to the website of an organization named in the text (i.e. his work with Christmas Daddies has to be referenced to media coverage of his work with Christmas Daddies, and not to Christmas Daddies' own website.) Accordingly, I've had to restrip almost every new "reference" that you added (Ryerson Review of Journalism and The Coast were the only valid ones), because none of them were acceptable secondary sources that could contribute anything toward getting him over WP:GNG or WP:JOURNALIST. RE: Bearcat: I have not done any editing here besides this and spelling correction in 7-ish years and this was my first time with references. I really was just trying to add more since that was the problem stated. It was a rushed job done over 2 days from a mobile device, and I apologise [Though the CTV Atlantic page was already linked before I edited it]. Someone else will have to deal with the article or such; I am not cut-out for any of this.
