Notability of Anastasiya Markovich
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Anastasiya Markovich, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Anastasiya Markovich seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Anastasiya Markovich, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Re: Article Anastasiya Markovich
[edit]Re your message: Your proposed new article still does not establish why she is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia on would likely to be deleted again. See the notability guideline for creative professionals for inclusion on Wikipedia. To establish her notability, you would need to show why she is an important painter. Has her work been shown multiple times at a major exhibition that received news coverage? Has she received any news coverage about her work? If you can supply references to news coverage of her, then that would help establish her notability. If you wish to work on the article before publishing it, I recommend that you create a sandbox on your account and then move the page once you feel comfortable that it is complete. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:31, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Your article looks notable enough to me. One thing though please avoid using general categories like "Time and that again. See the categories I've added The Bald One White cat 16:27, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Sounds good. Ukraine sounds like an interesting trip. I would suggest you work on it at User:Labberté K.J./Sandbox and any translating that need to be done there. Any photographs of Ukraine, particularly rural villages etc on your trip woudl also be much needed for various other articles. Regards The Bald One White cat 20:09, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Sounds excellent. As long as when you upload the photos you have the names of places and organize it. If you need help please ask someone in the commons to assist to ensure you use the correct categories and procedures.
