Now, in case you were not already aware of the fact, that was me using a different wikihandle because Verizon DSL changes my IP address periodically ... I think that I have maintained Civility from the beginning.The author has removed the
{{db-spam}}
tag placed by another editor (twice!) without offering any real improvements to the article, so I have restored it as{{db-web}}
, which is more appropriate ... read WP:3RR and do not remove the tag again. —72.75.73.158 (talk · contribs) 04:56, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- I just noticed this on Talk:Jaiku.com, because after I MOVE ON, I forget individual
- OTOH, I'm sorry I didn't say, "please read Wikipedia:Three-revert rule" ... but just how courteous must one be with an editor who does not seem to realize that if they remove the tag again, then they will be blocked from further editing?
- I tagged Jaiku for speedy delete, and it was ... the next day, you created Jaiku.com ... I recognized it while on New pages patrol, saw the previous CSD courtesy warning on your Talk page (with my own signature), so I tagged it again, and it was deleted again ... but this time, you convinced the closing admin to restore it, and they also took it to AfD for a consensus opinion and to give you more time to fix the WP:Attribution problems without it getting zapped again by overzealous Newpage editors and admins.
- Please see What to do when a speedy delete tag is removed for the protocol I'm trying to follow when I see an article that I don't think belongs in Wikipedia.
- You, on the other hand, appear to have attempted to obfuscate the AfD discussion (it's not a ballot, BTW) by expressing a Keep opinion in two different voices ... as Laaabaseball and as the IP address of your 'Net connection (both wikihandles were used to blank your Talk page) ... mine was 72.75.73.158 until it got blocked for violation of WP:CIVIL and for sockpuppetry ... I was vindicated and the block was lifted within a few hours, but a power interruption had forced a change in my IP address by then ... hence the suspicion of being a sockpuppet (and why I am giving you the benefit of the doubt and not accusing you of using socks) ... just think of me as The Bipolar AnonIP Gnome. :-)
- I tried to warn you about WP:3RR before you found out about it the Hard Way ... you, OTOH, have tried to expunge your record of numerous rejected article and image submissions to Wikipedia ... you may not realize it, but you are skating on Very Thin Ice ... take this as a Learning Experience and MOVE ON.
