John Weston (pioneer aviator and motor caravanner)
[edit]I did some copyedits on this article which I see you have pretty well undone. I am doing the work all over again. The edits were done because the article desparately needs them. This is a biog. of an interesting man and making it overlong, by minute discussionof sources and vast amounts of material not central to his life that can be linked in the article make it, at present, unreadable. Far to much of the artcle consists of direct quotes from sources. I aim to get this article to less than half of its present length: this can be done without actually losing anything of relevance. And btw could you please leave edit summaries. If you have issues, take them to the article talk page.TheLongTone (talk) 09:32, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 12
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Royal Naval Air Service, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Weston. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

- Many thanks for this which has only surfaced today as it went to spam. To business... I was hoping to make further edits of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titus_Salt BUT the page is now edit source only, which probably makes it unfeasible. Is there any way that can be changed? There are at least 5 errors that require correction. Les Brook 1944 (talk) 20:00, 16 September 2024 (UTC)
- UhUh! I've just (re-) discovered how to launch visible editing. Les Brook 1944 (talk) 21:43, 16 September 2024 (UTC)
