Image Tagging Image:Gohad2.jpg

[edit]
Warning sign
This image may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Gohad2.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stan 16:58, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I have put the GFDL tag as it is created by me.burdak 17:17, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bawdis

[edit]

Hi. I've created an article on Stepwells, then found your article at Bawdi. Any thoughts on merging these, or will they stand as two separate articles? Imc 11:35, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Imc, Both Stepwell and Bawdi are same things. May think of merging both articles. Bawdi pertains specifically to arid areas. Alternately we can provide "See also" sections in each article to refer to another one. burdak 17:02, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Harsawa

[edit]

I loved your page on Hasarwa. I've copy-edited it a bit, and put in a few more links (for the ignorant, like me, who have to look stuff up). I hope I haven't done any damage - please take a look and make sure I haven't inadvertently made anything untrue... Ooh, I do love Random Article! :-) JackyR 06:52, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shekhawati

[edit]

Please provide authentic sources for the irrelevant writeup about "farmers" in Shekhawati. I am from this area and all of this is news to me. Have you lived there? You are from MP; how can you write about Shekhawati?

Please read Talk:Shekhawati#Totally disputed. I would like to remind you of our personal attack policy; Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thanks. --LBMixPro<Speak|on|it!> 09:08, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

Thanks for your appreciation.I have created many articles on people( politicians, sportpersons etc ) and places( forts, dams etc) ralating to Rajasthan and propose to create many more later this year .I feel the proper and adequate categorisation is equally important as it improves visibilty of the articles and force us to think about the potential missing ones in those categories. I note that you have created many quality articles on Rajasthan and M.P. related topics. Please look at List of people from Rajasthan and add/enahance it.Also what do you think are priority areas for working on in future in respect of Rajasthan related topics.--Shyamsunder 17:43, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for enhancing Indira Gandhi Canal. You seem to be quite resourceful..--Shyamsunder 22:45, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A Proposal

[edit]

Dear User, you have created a stub for Bar(a)katullah; having plenty of authentified information on this revolutionary of a great calibre, I would like to contribute an article on him. For so doing, would you mind, if I delete altogether the stub (which contains some contradictory material) and begin afresh ? Thanks for your understanding.--BobClive 07:40, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, You are most welcome to change or modify Barkatullah with authentic facts. burdak 12:08, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your generous approval.--BobClive 14:09, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

06/06/06 is a special day and I celebrate it with my contribution on Maulavi Barakatullah. Hoping to hear from you. Regards.--BobClive 08:06, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi BobClive, It is nice contribution by you on Barkatulla. In fact there is a University in his name in Bhopal. But people did not have much ideas about him so I started a stub on him. Nice informations and article on great freedom fighter. burdak 07:57, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Glad to know you have liked it. It has to appear in Hindi and other regional languages, so that our people can have an idea of the enormous dimension of these patriots.--BobClive 10:28, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it possible to get a portrait of Maulavi Barakatullah ?--BobClive 13:34, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Suhag

[edit]

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Suhag may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. Jachin 07:16, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article on Suhag may not be deleted. It is historical stub on a social group in India. It has been provided with valid verifyable source. burdak 07:50, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

(Syndicated from User_talk:Jachin)

Hi Jachin, The article on Suhag may not be deleted. It is historical stub on a social group in India. It has been provided with valid verifyable source. It will help to further reconstruct the missing links of History if it is retained. burdak 07:53, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately there are only 58 websites that use the words in the article applied in the context they are used in the article which definately would indicate that it is not noteworthy enough for inclusion. Feel free to use your userpage as a means to compile such information into a form of significant quality, content and material before submitting it to it's own article, but 'reconstructing history' through first hand research on Wikipedia isn't a tenet or purpose for which Wikipedia exists. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Jachin 08:01, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A small present

[edit]
I Bhadani award the Photographer's Barnstar to burdak for adding images to Bhimbetka. --Bhadani 11:45, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is a small present from me to you. I am sure that you shall continue to add photographs to more pages. Congratulations! --Bhadani 11:46, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I also saw your photographs in the page Amarkantak, Splendid job! --Bhadani 15:30, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the Pramod K Singh article is about a different temple, Ramna Kali Mandir (destroyed in 1971 by Pakistan Army, located in Ramna Park). Dhakeshwari Temple is located in Palashi, Old Dhaka, and is a different temple. Mr. Singh somehow confused the names. Thanks. --Ragib 03:38, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rajput

[edit]

Hi bro, I have seen your mention of the word Rajput being used in the 7th century. Some highly speculative Jatt historians are claiming the word was only in vogue from 11th century onwards. Can you elaborate this point for me with any references? Many thanks :) --Raja 16:43, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Raja, Thakur Deshraj is one of the prominent Jat Historian. He has mentioned about Rajputs in his book on Jat history page 113-114, w.r.t Imperial Gazetteer of India Vol 2 (page 307-308),

"Then between the 7th and 8th centuries the old racial divisions passed away and a new division came in founded upon status and function.... The rise of Rajputs determined the whole political history of time. They made their first appearanca in 8-9th centuries; most of the greatest clans took possession of their seats between 800 and 850 AD. ..." burdak 17:09, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent, many thanks to you for that bro :)--Raja 17:54, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
