Glastonbury, Connecticut
[edit]Hello! In your edit summary you wrote, "I live here and my son goes to thier schools + it says in front of my sons school best school in new england 2005"(sic.) before another editor (no, it wasn't me the second time) reverted your edit. If you can tell me the agency or organization who issued that rating I might be able to find a reference to it. I already tried searching the middle school's and the Glastonbury school system's websites along with a few others without any success. If you can help me find a reference to cite per WP:V, I'll be happy to put mention of this back into the article. Thanks, and have a great day!--Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 15:52, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- (Conversation copied back to here from User talk:Elipongo for clarity)
- Hi elpongo! This is the person from Glastonbury ct. Well im not sure who gave the award out. You can not find it on Glastonbury public schools for some reason. If you visit that school and gideon wells school they were both awared the same thing one in 2004,and 2005. Thanks:)— Preceding unsigned comment added by LOTkid (talk • contribs) 16:48, 22 February 2007
- Hi LOTkid, thanks for your reply! I've moved our conversation back here to your talk page so that it's easier to read— don't worry, I'll know when you reply.
- Even though I am one of the paramedics who covers Glastonbury, I work overnights so I don't usually go to the schools unless someone got sick or hurt at a sporting event. Also, since I sleep during the daytime it's not so easy for me to call the schools themselves and ask.
- Usually a plaque or sign like the ones you mention would say which organization gave the award. I would expect a typical sign to read something like, "Awarded best school in New England 2005 by the ... organization." If you tell me the exact wording on the sign, I might be able to find a reference to cite for the article. Alternatively, you (or your son) could ask the school about it and see if there's some publication that we can reference. Thanks so much for your help! Have a great day! —Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 23:41, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi Elipongo! It's LOTkid next time i go to drop of my kid i will go and check on that. - Dude, that award was given to the architecture firm who built the building, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the school itself. —Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 12:28, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, it makes things easier! If I'm up and I remember to, I'll give that other school a telephone call and ask them about it. Thanks for helping out! —Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 22:24, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

You & 72.200.166.120
[edit]Hello LOTkid. You stated in the edit summary for your last edit to your user page, "Actually im not that other user when im not loged on. Somone else please stop 72.200.166-. by the way i always log on:)". I based my assumption on these two nearly identical edits [1] & [2] that were posted to the Glastonbury, Connecticut article only a day apart and the fact that 72.200.166.120 (talk · contribs) had made non-vandalous edits to your user page. When I checked out that IP account, I discovered that you had blanked out that page's recent warnings. Can you offer a satisfactory explanation for this curious edit pattern. Thank you. —Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 23:29, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry case
[edit]You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/LOTkid for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page.

Hi Elipongo! I actually found out who that is! It's not me but a resident from Glasotnbury named Alex! He likes to edit alot about Glastonbury since he lives here please if you would talk to him!— Preceding unsigned comment added by LOTkid (talk • contribs) 13:20, 26 February 2007
- If you have evidence that my assertion is mistaken, I would strongly recommend that you present it at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/LOTkid rather than here. —Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 14:56, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Pawel Szajda, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Pawel Szajda
[edit]An editor has nominated Pawel Szajda, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pawel Szajda and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 16:59, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Template:LOT Polish Airlines former destinations
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:LOT Polish Airlines former destinations requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{tranclusionless}}</noinclude>
).

Little context in Airline websites that are in polish
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Airline websites that are in polish, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Airline websites that are in polish is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Airline websites that are in polish, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
