In regards to the Carol Gilligan page, I would like to add more information about her philosophy and views on moral development and free will. After getting familiar with her wikipedia page, my group has noticed there is barely any information on ways she views the world. After reading the article titled, " Gilligans Theory of Moral Development as Applied to Social Work" by Margaret L. Rhodes, I have decided to add a small section in the wikipedia page after the background and career section but before the awards section.I plan to discuss and briefly outline her views on morality and how it is developed over time. I will discuss the contrast between Gilligan's tow aspects of moral development, rights and responsibilities. She believes that it is a mother figure, or caretaker that is responsible for shaping and creating the moral values in a child. Giligan also thinks that moral development in a person is imperative because the individual must consider the rules of society and how their actions affect other. I will be discussing these ideas with my group members to see if we can collaborate and expand on these ideas. LLP210 (talk) 17:27, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
