[edit] Hello, I'm KNHaw. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If you feel the cited source backs up your statement, please include it in a citation within the article, not just in the comments on your edit. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for more details. [edit]Hey there L'Homme, I'm writing here to answer the question you wrote in your edit summary. At first it looked like your first edit had only included a citation in the edit summary, and not the article itself, so KNHaw engouraged you to add it the source to the article. But it's clear now that you were citing the already cited BBC article. Thanks for the addition :) – Þjarkur (talk) 20:30, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, @Þjarkur:. That is exactly what happened. I was confused by the edit's comment. Thank you @L'Homme Presse: for redoing your edit - I have removed the warning from your talk page above.
- In the future if you want to talk directly to an editor, please use their talk page. The comments section on an edit are not really intended for communication to other editors, just as an quick archival note for what was changed.
- Thanks again! --KNHaw (talk) 20:51, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
