Content must be supported be supported by the source
[edit]In this edit and this edit, you wanted to add content saying "Zipporah is now recognized as a Cush woman", supported by this source. That source does not mention Zipporah at all. It cannot be used to support the content. It is also not the kind of source we use for biblical scholarship. We need scholarly works from the biblical literature - journal articles or books.
Content in Wikipedia just summarizes what reliable sources say. The source has to support the specific content. If you don't understand, please ask. Jytdog (talk) 18:52, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
Article talk pages
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Zipporah are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.
